It's been crazy here for several months. Our daughter Heidi came and spent the summer with us. We really had a great time, we love it when she comes to visit. She's so much fun to be with, and her baby sister is nuts for her. We got a blow up water slide for the kids this summer and it seemed to go over big. We really wish we could see all the kids more but sometimes we can't. So we all need to enjoy and cherish the time we get to spend together, a little time is better than none. We would really like to get her for the holidays, I love working with her in the kitchen.
Risa had her birthday
in August. I made her a ladybug cake with matching ladybug cupcakes. I love to bake and do parties, especially birthdays and holidays.Then Brittany and Randy got married in September. It was beautiful (of course) she was a beautiful bride. It was to be an outdoor wedding but mother nature didn't cooperate and it rained. Britt didn't let this get her down we just brought everyone into the house and had the wedding inside. Of course as soon as she started down the aisle the rain stopped. I told her the rain was
tears of love and joy from her grandfathers. It was great though, her little sister was one of the flower girls, Randys neice was the other flower girl we had good food, music and getting together with family and friends to celebrate. We couldn't ask for a better son-in-law, he's a great guy and treats Britt really well, they're a perfect match (soul mates).Well now it's time to get ready for the holidays with all the cooking and decorating.
