Our newest addition

Hey everyone,
Wanted to introduce our newest addition to the family. Our new bunny Snuggly. He's 6wks old, and a little bundle of love. He's so loving, loves to be held and will kiss you. Risa's crazy about him, his brother lives with my cousin. We got the bunny the day after Christmas (it wasn't planned) but they were so cute we had to have them.
My oldest daughter and her husband just got a chocolate lab for Christmas and she's a cutie. Our little Zoe.

Where have we been?

It's been crazy here for several months. Our daughter Heidi came and spent the summer with us. We really had a great time, we love it when she comes to visit. She's so much fun to be with, and her baby sister is nuts for her. We got a blow up water slide for the kids this summer and it seemed to go over big. We really wish we could see all the kids more but sometimes we can't. So we all need to enjoy and cherish the time we get to spend together, a little time is better than none. We would really like to get her for the holidays, I love working with her in the kitchen.

Risa had her birthday
Then Brittany and Randy got married in September. It was beautiful (of course) she was a beautiful bride. It was to be an outdoor wedding but mother nature didn't cooperate and it rained. Britt didn't let this get her down we just brought everyone into the house and had the wedding inside. Of course as soon as she started down the aisle the rain stopped. I told her the rain was
tears of love and joy from her grandfathers. It was great though, her little sister was one of the flower girls, Randys neice was the other flower girl we had good food, music and getting together with family and friends to celebrate. We couldn't ask for a better son-in-law, he's a great guy and treats Britt really well, they're a perfect match (soul mates).Well now it's time to get ready for the holidays with all the cooking and decorating. I can't wait

Been A While
We're back. It's been awhile.
We had a great summer. Heidi came and spent about 4 weeks with us, it was great. She stays bored all the time though, but it's rough being a teenager. We went to the zoo and My Old Kentucky Home and tried to stay busy. Hated to see her go, we really enjoy having her with us, so does her little sister. Of course Marisa drive Heidi crazy but that's what little sisters do.
Heidi got a pot bellied pig when she went home
, we're just waiting for a photo.
Risa's birthday's coming up. Can't believe how fast they grow. Hopefully it will be a nice day so the kids can play on the water slide.
Next comes the big WEDDING
. I'm really looking forward to it. Britt's so happy and she's picked a really great guy. It's been a headache too, espically for her, planning one of these things will really take it's toll, but it's worth it.
Guess that's about it for now. Will post again soon.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY
I just wanted to take a moment to thank God for this wonderful country.
I also want to thank all the men and women in the armed forces past, present and future for what they do to protect us and our country. God Bless All Of You and your families.
We all need to be thankful for what we have and for our wonderful families. Lets take today (and everyday) and hug and kiss our kids and parents.
I hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July!
GOD BLESS AMERICA

Getting Ready For The 4th
Steve got back yesterday with Heidi and Marisa.
Risa had a big time with her sisters. It was a good trip for her, the first trip without mom. Dad did a good job of course she wore him out but that's good for dads sometimes.
We're know waiting for Britt and Randy to get here. Looking forward to our big 4th picnic.
I guess I better get into the kitchen and start cooking. Want to get it ready tonight so I can enjoy the picnic.

WOW! It's been a while
Wow it's been a while since I've written.
We've been so busy with the business. I'm a work at home mom for a great company, check out our web site http://www.freedomathometeam.com/liveyourdreams.
The garden's going crazy. We've gotton lots of squash, just waiting for the tomatos to turn red. If we could just keep the ground hog away from the squash. But we have enough to share.
Gotta go get our little lady bug in a few weeks. Can't wait to see her. Got all kinds of plans for her visit. We've put up the water slide for the kids which should keep them busy for a while.
I'm going to try to set up some more pictures. I'm not real good at that but I'll give it a try.
Have a great day

Busy Day
Spent the day getting the office ready. We're just about done, I love it.
Steve had the baby outside playing. She loves checking on the vegtable garden she helped plant. We had hoped it was going to be a little warmer though so we could try out the new water slide. Maybe next weekend.
This blog thing is real neat. I hope to someday learn how everything works.
Our neice graduated high school this past week. Go AMANDA :)
Hope to see the rest of the family this summer. It's hard sometimes when family is scattered around.
Next week should be a good one.

Finally the Weekend
What a great day!
The weather here is great, a sunny 81. A welcome change from all the rain we've been having.
Spent part of the day at Micky D's with our little one. Hopefully she'll be tired by this evening.
She got her dog a new toy for them to play with.
Got a lot to do today getting my new office put together. We're starting to work from home and we're very excited about it.
That's about all so far for today, gotta finish working on my honey do list (lol).

We're a blended family. I'm from North Carolina and my wife's from Kentucky.
We have 5 daughters, between the ages of 26 and 3.
We're on a mission of sorts right now.
Rebuilding ourselves, helping out, and being helped.
Most of our children are in the Old Dominion, right now, we're in the Bluegrass State.
Family is very important to us. Right now, it is our goal to revise the way we work,
in order to be available to our children.
We have a crazy dog that likes to chase squirrels up trees. She also likes to chase our groundhog. Playing in water is also a favorite pastime for her, she likes to eat the water when we water the garden.
OK, the dog is a Hoosier (but we love her anyway).
One of our favorite places to visit is Nags Head NC. We would love to visit my brother in Saipan but I don't like to fly. Personally, I prefer to drive.
We also like Williamsburg, VA. They have the best seafood restuarant around, Captain George's.
Ok, we'll stop here, just see how all this looks!
